On March 29, 2022, the PCAOB adopted charters governing the membership and activities of its two new advisory groups — the Investor Advisory Group (IAG) and the Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group (SEIAG).

The Standards Advisory Group (SAG), which was established on March 29, 2021 to advise the Board on (i) existing auditing and related attestation standards, quality control standards, ethics standards, and independence standards; (ii) proposed standards; and (iii) potential new or amended standards, was dissolved on March 29, 2022, with the adoption of the charters of the Investor Advisory Group (IAG) and Standards Emerging Issues Advisory Group (SEIAG).
